Role overview

A senior leadership role for a Chartered Civil Engineer with a strong client base, geo-structural design expertise, and the credibility to lead technically and commercially.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as technical authority and reviewer for civil and geo-structural design
  • Lead and sign off complex multi disciplinary engineering solutions
  • Bring existing client relationships and actively generate new work
  • Lead client meetings, fee proposals, and project strategy
  • Apply practical construction experience to deliver buildable solutions
  • Mentor senior and junior engineers
  • Support wider business development and regional growth

About you

  • Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng, MICE or equivalent)
  • Strong UK consultancy background with demonstrable client following
  • Proven experience in geo-structural elements design
  • Practical understanding of construction sequencing, risk, and delivery
  • Confident in winning, leading, and retaining work
  • Optional – Ambition to progress into Associate Director level
